Stephen Sun

I pursued my studies in the United States before venturing into the field of photography. Upon graduating, I relocated to New York City to begin my journey as a photography apprentice. Subsequently, I served as the lead photographer for several local Chinese wedding studios in New York City, including Paris Bridal, Royal Court Bridal, Crystal Wedding, True Love Bridal, Jia Yuan Bridal, and European Classic Bridal, capturing outdoor bridal portraits, wedding photos, personal portraits, and children’s portraits for five years.

During this time, I also joined Long Island’s eventscapture studio, where I spent four years capturing pre-wedding photos, wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, and engagement photos for clients of Indian, Caucasian, and Hispanic descent.

Later, I joined NEW VISION, engaging in advertising and film photography. I participated in the filming of “Detective Chinatown 3” and captured moments for numerous companies listed on NASDAQ, as well as producing short films and documentaries.

Over eight years, I photographed 900 weddings without missing a single shot or receiving any complaints. I consistently maintained the highest level of service, always striving for the best results by using flash photography techniques.

In 2018, my son was born, coinciding with the registration of my company. The name of the company is an acronym of my family members’ initials. Our primary focus shifted to family portraits and children’s photography, aiming to document every moment since my son’s birth.

In 2023, I opened a studio in Flushing, hoping to capture more stories and connect with a wider audience.
